Judah Ben Samuel (1140-1217)

1517-1917
In 1217, the Jewish rabbi Judah Ben Samuel prophesied that the Ottoman Turks would rule over the holy city of Jerusalem for 8 jubilees (8 * 50 years). In 1517, 300 years later, Turkey conquered Jerusalem and ruled over the city for exactly 400 years until 1917 when they were defeated by the Allied forces under the command of General George Allenby.

1917-1967
During the ninth jubilee, Jerusalem was to be a no-man's land. This was also the case because the Holy Land was under British Mandate through the League of Nations between 1917 and 1948 and did not belong to any nation. After the 1948-1949 war, Jordan occupied the eastern part of Jerusalem until 1967, when the city was liberated during the 6-Day War. Between 1949 and 1967, the inner city of Jerusalem was a zone that belonged to no country and was called no man's land by both Jordan and Israel.

1967-2017
During the tenth jubilee, Jerusalem would be under Jewish control and then the Messianic end times would begin.
